Each of the book's sections - neck, trunk, sacrum, and upper and lower extremities - is introduced with a visual overview using illustrations selected from the world famous Atlas of Human Anatomy by the late Frank H. Netter.

Each section begins with a series of relevant Netter illustrations, followed by detailed photographs, illustrations, and descriptions of gross anatomical structures, regions, topography, and musculature and innervation.
